Sells Floto Big Double Sideshow — 1930

Sells Floto Circus Sideshow, 1930

Sells Floto Big Double Sideshow
glossy photograph, 5 x 7 inches, 1930
photographer: unknown

This photograph depicts the 1930 bannerline of the Sells Floto Double Sideshow with the entire troupe lined up out front. The headlining acts of that season seem to have been Koo-Koo the Bird Girl and Frances O'Connor, Armless Girl. However, there were plainly lots of other attractions, too, as I count at least thirty-five people in this photograph. The line-up looks to have included a jazz band, a Scottish pipe a drum band, dancing girls, a fat lady, and much more.

The main banner says:

SELLS FLOTO
BIG DOUBLE SIDESHOW

WORLD'S MOST COMPLETE CONGRESS OF
STRANGE PEOPLE
NOVEL AND UNIQUE PERFORMANCES
FOR LADIES
GENTLEMEN
AND…

My tribute to the Bird Girl, Koo-Koo of Ringling, may be seen here .
